Plantains

1 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. Oil
Plantains
Salt

Plantains are different than bananas. They are more dense and therefore will be more brown than bananas when they are soft enough to eat.

While the butter and oil are melting in a pan, slice the plantains on an angle so you get as much surface area as possible exposed. Fry the plantains in the butter and oil till crispy. Sprinkle with salt and serve.
