2 C. Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
½ C. Butter
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 C. Milk
¼ tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Chopped Nuts (Optional)
Combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla. Alternately add milk and the flour mixture. Put in muffin tins. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400˚ F.
