4 Mint Sprigs
1 1/2 C. Sugar
2 C. Cold Water
3/4 C. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 (2 Liter) Bottle Ginger Ale
Thin Lemon Slices for Garnish (Optional)
Rinse mint leaves and discard stems. Place sugar, water and lemon juice in medium sized bowl. Mix and stir in mint leaves. Allow to stand for at least 30 minutes (overnight is okay.) Fill a large punch bowl with ice cubes and pour liquid on top. Add ginger ale and lemon slices. Serves 10.
