Crisply Singed Asparagus (Mary, 2014)

Asparagus
1/2 Lemon Juiced
2 tsps. Garlic
Salt & Pepper
Smoked Paprika
Italian Seasoning (or Oregano)


  1. Preheat the oven to a high convection broil (555 F), and move an oven rack to the middle of the oven.
  2. Cover asparagus in all the ingredients and make sure they are completely covered.
  3. Place the asparagus in a large stoneware dish and broil with the oven door closed until the asparagus are crisp and the tips are nearly black.
Note: Invented by careful preparation and subsequent distraction.
