Vanilla Syrup


2 C. Water
1 ½ C. Sugar
½ C. Packed Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter
3 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract
¼ tsp. Cinnamon
½ C. Cold Water
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
Bring water and sugars to a rolling boil in a large saucepan; add butter, vanilla and cinnamon. In a separate mixing bowl, stir cold water and cornstarch together until smooth; slowly add to boiling sugar mixture. Stir until syrup thickens slightly; remove from heat and cool. Serve warm or chilled.
