½ C. Sugar
½ C. Packed Brown Sugar
½ C. Butter
½ C. Peanut Butter
1 Egg
1 ¼ C. All-Purpose Flour or Whole Wheat Flour
¾ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Salt
Heat oven to 375˚ F. Mix sugars, butter, peanut butter and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Shape dough into ¾ inch balls. Note: Mom (Barb) presses them flat with three fingers or cross hashes the top with a fork.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not hard, about 10 minutes.
